What a lousy story. For me, it was uninspiring, boring, dreary, and just plain awful. The plot was simple, almost comical. The central theme behind the book was the idea of always being on the road. Constant moving and unending forward expansion in order for survival. What a load of nonsense. This theme is shameful and is used in so many other books that this one should be considered plagarism to the highest degree. At this point, I would like to say that I am just venting due to the fact that I literally had to read the entire book in one night. All-in-all it was an okay book but it was, indeed, boring at some moments and at others made absolutely no sense. The character Dean though, pissed me off the most. This character lives each day at a time, not knowing what will happen to him, what he will eat, or where he will spend the night. I loath such selfish and incapable people. They actually believe themselves to be the true scholars of the world. To be the people of peace when, in reality, they are actually the ones who will get stepped on and will feel the loneliness that they had created themselves due to their insane greed and want for power. People with self-respect are the true rulers of the Earth who do not need the help of your kids who might be in some serious troubled.
